besides, if you want to do weed you already can, so it's not like the law actually stops people. Making it legal just means the government gets the revenue from it and drug cartels are not as powerful in this particular area (the area of weed that is)

Also that it will most likely increase accessibility for minors. Instead of having their older brother or their cool uncle buy them booze, they will have them buy ounces. Marijuana's effects on a developing brain include lowering as many as 7 IQ points! That's a lot. It also induces feelings of laziness and conductivity, which aren't really good for anyone.

as for the rest of your post, it's their choice whether or not they want to do drugs. it should not be the government's decision if they can. it's their life.
