A default sign up to the organ register, with optional opt out would be better (rather than the opposite as it is now).
That way more people donate, if only by ignorance, rather than people not donating out of ignorance.
Selling organs just creates an unfair market where the poorest are left out, and donations go to the richest, rather than to the person most in need of it (or who has been waiting the longest) and most compatible with the donor organ.
