--- Quote from: IkeTheGeneric on April 16, 2015, 12:34:12 PM ---I put ideals in quotes because what you referred to aren't actually ideals. You came into the thread guns 'a blazing (no pun intended) about something you barely know anything about, and like I said, you're arrogant enough to not change your stance. You aren't trying to debate, you're just trying to be right. --- End quote --- I know that if there is a massive rebellion it will be controlled in whatever way possible. Before you get all fussy, no, I doubt there would be a rebellion large enough to force the gorvernment to take actions that drastic. --- Quote from: IkeTheGeneric on April 16, 2015, 12:34:12 PM ---I'm not exactly a history buff but I at least know of a few civil wars enough to get a general idea of what would happen if one happened in modern-day america. --- End quote --- You have the future at your fingertips. |

In my opinion the biggest threat to the 2nd amendment isn't the so called libturds, hippies, or anti-gun crowd. It's these starfishs These guys who go around to every street corner to protest the government with big signs saying how much they love their gun. People look at as if they were a danger to themselves. They make the responsible owners look bad. Same with those guys walking around with an AR-15, they just make themselves out to be starfishs and ruin the image of everyone else. They are like those guys that run around naked at a gay pride parade demanding social acceptance. Then you have all those guys who fail to practice fire arm safety or common sense. Remember the UZI kid? Maybe if the range officer thought "Hmm, this kid is too small to handle that thing. Sorry, you aren't allowed to fire that thing". What could go wrong they thought, well unfortunately it didn't go his way. Plus people let the adrenaline get to them that they jump on instinct without thinking. There was girl sneaking out at night, a dad who was a police officer heard her fumbling around in the garage. The dad thought she was a burglar, ended up shooting here and then realized that he had just shot his own daughter. I think she ended up living because the dad quickly drove her to the hospital, if she does live she is going to have some health complications for the rest of her life. Maybe if he asked questions before shooting that wouldn't have happened. --- Quote from: Kansas on April 16, 2015, 12:45:09 PM ---We are more concerned with firearms falling into the wrong hands and we need to do that without restricting responsible gun buyers --- End quote --- Guns aren't sold like bread on a shelf. You have to go through a waiting period which consists of a criminal background check. You have to 18 years or older to purchase a rifle or shotgun, and 21 to purchase a handgun. If you have any felonies, dishonorably discharged from the military, have a restraining order, love offender, you cannot own a fire arm. |
