Crosswords seem more rewarding when you can figure it all out.
You can get tricky wordsearches, but it's not really something that challenges your knowledge, vocabulary or even puzzle abilities.
The question is where you like cryptic crosswords or not though. These I can never do.
Edit: Not meaning to jump the gun on this question, but a future discussion I've been thinking of recently is which you would rather;
1) Have a serious life-threatening cancer, no guarantees of a cure through therapy or surgery, but also not certain that you're going to die in a set amount of time.
or
2) Have alzheimers disease, getting progressively worse.
