No but education should be mandatory. Without it pretty much can't do anything in today's society.

I agree, most school complaints are basically just because teenagers don't want to work but are made to by school. When they grow up they'll realise that that's just how the world is and that you actually have to work to maintain yourself/family.

And it shouldn't. I don't know how the system works in America but it would make sense if it were to work the same as in Britain. Grades are set based on how everyone sitting the same exam does in the country and are equally divided into groups of grades. If you fail then you obviously are in the lowest group of performance in the whole country, which would be <50% by the looks of it.

The grades aren't just "decided" without taking into account everyone's performance in the whole country
