Maxwell.:

new debate: did they even have a dog gone dime
new debate: moose or meese

The GI of MA:

no
new debate should be: "has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?"

Destroyer:

Certainly not to $15/hr like some of these idiots are saying. That is about the average salary of an EMT. So why should some dumb teenager flipping burgers get paid the same amount as people out saving the lives of others.

SeventhSandwich:

I say no because the following spike in unemployment is much worse.

However, there's gotta be some way of making sure that people are able to make a living wage without putting the burden on companies. How do you do that? No clue. I'm not an economist.

The Magical Dunes:

--- Quote from: Jubel on April 23, 2015, 08:46:13 PM ---I could see it possibly applied to small businesses that don't see lots of traffic normally, but in the grand scheme of things a raise of minimum wage should do nearly next to nothing. If there is any inflation of money because of it, wouldn't it be negligible compared to the "natural" inflation money goes through anyways?

Hell, it makes more sense to me at least that an increase of wages would result in lower inflation, because that would result in more people trying to spend it, which is great. If people spend money instead of hoarding it, shouldn't its value increase?

--- End quote ---
if more people are purchasing the same amount of goods, prices should naturally rise. ergo, there'll be inflation.
