College is flawed in my opinion. General Ed needs to go and college needs to be free. In this day and age a high school diploma isn't good enough and the average joe needs a four year degree just to stay an average joe.

You go there to specialize in one area, but they make you take all these general education classes so that you can spend money on classes that you didn't plan on taking. There are only two general ed classes that I find useful and that is English and Math for those wanting to enter the science/engineering/business world. For example the job I had in mind involves more writing and driving around.

Fees are also loving high, unless you get financial aid. You can get a loan, but lets face it the interest is to damn high and you accumulate more expenses to enter a field that pays slightly more than your old fast food job.

if all the jobs that could be done by robots were done by robots, we wouldn't need money. people could just get the things they want, and do the work they want
