Even if most things aren't used by a person, it's all about the practice which helps you cope better in further education. I'm assuming you don't have to pay for general education classes in college if you've already done so for the subject you are studying for in high school? In UK, the general equivalent of what I think college is would be sixth form, and that is free. University is sorta like even further education above college but that needs to be paid for. |
