but do they matter that much? we can still get a general idea of peoples opinions, people can vote option a or b and c so once again; just don't count option c

They do make that choice yes but if c wasn't an option there would be more voters for a and b. Having a higher number of a/b voters will make the stats more believable.
But if its just a fun joke poll then it doesn't really matter.

basically yeah, the poll kind of is, so is the whole topic basically and nonnel will finalise it with a joke statement based on the poll
although that doesn't mean to say peoples opinions get completely disregarded, in case you were wondering that, any serious discussion that happens will happen
