No human has the right to intentionally deprive someone else of life. Regardless of how many people they've killed or whatever horrible crime they've committed, they're still human beings and have some reason for their actions, whether it be misguided ideology, mental problems, anger issues, etc. Even if rehabilitation isn't an option, it isn't right for us to decide whose life matters more than another, or who should die and who should live.

I believe death penalty should be available but require the prisoners consent in order to carry out.
