Back at it again with the issues...: I spawned once more and was killed initially upon spawning. I shrugged if off and waited till the next round. The next round comes and the instruction is "All prisoners afk freeze and face the floor of your cell by 9:30." I complied with orders and was staring at the ground AFK. I was killed by Wkay (the warden at the time). I tried to appeal via the /a feature and was told by TheBlackParrot that I was killed because I was facing the floor of the cell in the direction of the wall. The instructions stated to be afk and face the floor. I don't see how it is fair to be killed for the reasoning I was given. The instructions did NOT state your player HAD to be stationed towards the cell door, looking down. The directions did not state which direction your player needs to be, only that you need to be afk facing at the floor. Things like these push people away and are uninviting, like my Apr 1 experience.

The next round I played I was able to play for a lil bit, and I died from my own mistakes. I'm just puzzled as to how sometimes you obey and you live, and how other times you obey but are killed without reason? There needs to be better/harsher rules for guards. Directions that are very vague set the prisoner team up for failure before they even leave their cells.

Another thing - admins tend to be the last one surviving on the prisoner team. I'm unsure if this is because players are biased to kill them because they are an admin, or if they are just really good and know how things operate.

joined, followed all instructions
got killed on the line for no reason

that gameplay needs a lot of reworking

In Tezuni's defence, yes, he only played 15 minutes because he WASN'T able to step outside of his cell without be killed for nothing. I don't blame him for not sticking around longer. It's very discouraging, especially for a new player, being killed the moment you spawn AFTER you have waited for the next round.

Positive notes: Great build, great scripting/eventing. Other than that one freekill, I enjoyed playing tonight.

The reason admins live the longest is because they mostly receive admin in ways that get you experience including playing a lot.

As to the facing thing, I will try to push for a way for admins to teleport to the exact transform of a players death setting.

this would help a lot considering this is becoming a trend

i was just told you weren't looking at the floor at all

we have /deathloc, but as dannu said, we only have the position of where you died right now, we don't know what way you were facing

When I get a chance I will make deathloc just teleport your player instead of your camera. You'll still be able to press light key to return.
It does know the exact transform its just impossible to tell with a camera.

I can't see this working unless people have mics, I'm sorry

Except it has worked for a while now, very well so.

/deathLoc now creates a bot at the location/direction of their death and puts your camera on him, you can use the light key to return to your body/delete the bot still.

I would love it if Blockland had mics, would be totally awesome for a gamemode like this but it's not possible and I think I've done a solid job making it work without. People are enjoying the server and it functions fine. This comment seems pointless.

It would be cool if you could rework the /whokilled command to where if you use it on someone alive, it would show who and how many people were killed by him

That or make a seperate command too

That's kinda what this is made for, I didn't really want a bunch of logging commands when you can just see them here.

no I mean like a /whokilled command, except you use it on an alive/dead person so you have a list on who they killed in that round

That's exactly what that is except it doesn't work in a handicapped way.

Random chance of being black as a prisoner?
why not just not force skin tones and let the player choose?

we can also just page up as well, guards kill strings aren't hidden

why not just not force skin tones and let the player choose?
muh races! muh diversity!

its a game i dont see how skin tone affects it so much.

Not many other people seem to have issues and if they do they're able to use /a to contact admins and get it resolved pretty quickly. Did you try that? You didn't really supply any fixes/suggestions or even an example so I can't "rework" it.

Also looking at your data you only played for 15 minutes which isn't really enough time to fully understand and play the server in my opinion.
well im not going to invent your game mechanics for you
and i don't need to play for longer than 15 minutes to see something is clearly wrong.  how to fix that is up to you
