But yeah, i'm on the support side now.

Bumping addons isn't bad at all. A lot of addons will just die off after a few days without posts so bumping them to the front will put them up there again.

bumping topics in general shouldn't be a problem since the op could just lock it when it seems worn out (drama and help boards are the exceptions)
