if you dont want the key to be deactivated and if the guy has a chance of coming back i would suggest that you keep the key and never use it ever
unless thats still against the tos
I have sworn that I would keep Yoke's name alive, so I am using the Key to host in Yoke's name.

Uh yes key sharing is always a serious problem. I didn't cause this, your ignorance of the rules caused this.
Badspot isn't online 24/7 genius. He hasn't been online since this topic was made. "It would not be a problem if X mentioned it!" is complete utter BS. It doesn't work that. Breaking the rules is always an issue, whether or not anyone mentions it.

Also, use the edit button, it's there for a reason.
Ever noticed how nobody ever talks about siblings sharing keys? Well that's because it is'nt a big deal.  The fact that Ravencroft simply said that he reported about the keys, drew attention to this situation. Badspot literally loses nothing by letting 2 players share keys. The keys were bought, and I didnt plan on buying another key, so its not like Badspot lost a profit on sharing keys. I honestly question why sharing keys is a problem, if both players sharing the key have bought their own accounts, and even then. One if the players will quit blockland.

a key activation on a different ip will alert badspot that "oh this key may have been stolen" and he may disable it.

people dont talk about siblings because they live in the same house usually, and thus the same ip

Thus saying that key sharing is a problem because they might have been stolen? Or that badspot will only deactivate them because he got an alert. Why in the forget is key sharing a problem?

Sharing your key with someone in the same house isn't an issue. Did you already forget about my post last night?
Key sharing among multiple people spread over multiple ips is a disaster waiting to happen. Browse through some old dramas like I said and you'll see MANY instances where key sharing has led to trolling, impersonation, arguments over the key, etc, etc. I mean it's really not hard to figure out.

Heres a good quote from the other topic

Why share your key in the first place? It's dumb.

Your key is insecure with anyone else but yourself. Can you ultimately trust whoever you give it to for them to not disclose it or not have it revoked? People could also use your identity. Doing things they should not be doing.

What if you want to come back to Blockland?

What if the person you shared your key to does something that taints your reputation?

There's many things that could go wrong. But there is nothing that could go right if you give your key out.

I log in from different IP addresses from time to time, that's kinda stupid that you can get revoked for that, but there isn't any other info that you could get really

I do too, I doubt Badspot would revoke someone unless he suspects the key is actually being used by more than one person.

The key has only been entrusted with me. So thus, only 2 people can get in contact with this key. It will not lead to multiple people having the key.

still, i wouldn't suggest using it. the key could be deactivated.

Again, Yoke quit blockland, thats what this topic is about. He will not be on the key again, therefore I would be the only one able to play on the key. But the fact being, I am only using it to host a server with Yoke's name.

oh you're using it right now? alright just be careful and dont be suprised if it stops working

still, i wouldn't suggest using it. the key could be deactivated.

Adding on to this, your actual keys that you own could get revoked as well. It has happened before.
