Lorens sees the Excubitor banking and descending. Now that the prison camp can no longer be fired upon by its cannons, he weighs his options.
stuff, it's still too close to the camp for me to bring it down.
Unsure of what else he can target while he's still positioned underneath the destroyer, he decides for now it's safest to attack the target as planned. He pitches back up and fires the coilgun at farthest Howitzer, hoping that nothing else intersects with the projectile's path.
"Guns on the destroyer!" A menacing boom and a bright flash tell the departure of the sabot round from its barrel. Lorens swerves away and continues towards the far side of the destroyer.

Faw radios Alpha again.
"Going in for another run on the infantry behind the Defender."
Faw takes a moment to line up his shot before swooping down and firing with all his guns.
Mr. Hurricane:

As he pulls away he acknowledges Walt.
"Go ahead, things are almost cleaned up here,"

As the destroyer continues to bank, it ends up placing its hull in the way of your slug.
