Eremit hits the afterburners and flies off to meet the destroyer by himself while the rest of his squad begins picking out their targets in the HQ sector.

LAMS turret S1 rolls to intercept missiles (D6):

The sole remaining LAMS turret knocks out four of the six incoming submunitions, but the other two, as well as the main stage of the missile, make it through. The submunitions splash harmlessly against even the relatively thin armor the destroyer has, but the EMP stage strikes below the bow and deals a massive blow to the airship's lifting ability. The front end begins dipping sharply, but as a whole manages to remain "afloat".
