Pressing the same button you did before draws a portion of the fluid into the weapon, and the weapon alerts you that it is ready to fire with an electronic chitter and the display changing to read "100%" and "OK".
Tayasaurus:

Tippy looks down the weapon scope to get a feel for what its like. The Scope had neat little status symbols and holograms indicating windage, with another dial letting her set the scope from night vision modes all the way to thermal. A red reticle that wasn't stationary would float over the best point to aim at during high winds for the best accuracy. Tippy rests the crosshair on one of the furthest away targets and pulls the trigger.

There's a slight delay after you pull the trigger, only a fraction of a second, before the gun discharges a jet of magnetic fluid at extreme velocity with a mighty crack. The silhouette target gets its head blown clear off. Morten sets his homemade handcannon on the table to watch the next shot, and judging by the people who are craning their necks to look at what just made that sound, you very well may start attracting a crowd.

Tippy adjust a few settings for the next shot and aims to take out the next target, this time aiming for a torso shot.
