Lorens releases a sigh of his own and tries to relax. Switching gears, he fiddles with the MiG's ILS receivers and tunes to the sky carrier's ICLS frequencies in preparation for landing.

Cualli, situated on the recovery deck below the two main flight decks, heads over to Gus' plane with Elu in tow. She has her arms folded as she looks from him to his aircraft. "You're back early," she remarks. "Something go wrong?"

"It appears," Gus says, looking at the PAK and then at Cualli, "that my plane was not refuelled all the way. Thankfully this was only a drill."
