"How do I look, by the way?" Cualli asks. She has the beginnings of dark circles under her eyes and is clearly tired. Her braids are a bit disheveled and look like they should probably be redone soon. She also missed a button on her fatigues and has yet to realize it.

She's cut off by the brief klaxon which sounds to warn everyone on board that the vessel is about to enter a banking turn. (During non-combat maneuvers, the carrier typically rolls no more than ten degrees. Naturally this means that the turning radius is probably measured in miles)
