Yui flashes back to the base defense, then to Svirask, and decides that there must have been some divine intervention.

"Yeah. He had told me that last time he was here, they got hit by dozens of the skyships. And they lost three of their squadmates."
Cualli sighs, rubbing her face. "I hate that he's going into a situation like that after such a sour note. I'm going to feel awful if things go south, or if he..." She trails off, but Yui can probably fill in the blank for herself.
Gojira:
"...yeah, I know what you mean," says Yui, a little quieter, thinking about her own flight's losses.
carolcat:
"I wish I could go for a drink."
