The second plasma shot hits the Vigilant below the bridge and the plasma spreads throughout the internals of the ship, spraying out from any windows near the afflicted area. The destroyer starts to lose control as secondary explosions continue to cook off ammunition and destroy key systems, culminating in the airship veering into a skyscraper. The building topples over, and the force of the impact shears the destroyer in two.
