Markus snaps back into reality and turns away from the window, readying his equipment. He hops out of the VTOL and heads out, turning on the flashlight on his rifle. |

Jaakko disembarks from the VTOL and steps on to the roof. He looks around but is not sure if his eyes had adjusted enough, or if they were sensitive enough at all, to see anything. |

Gus retrieves the carbine from the rack, turning on his helmet flashlight with a click. He steps off the ramp and lands on the roof a short distance below. "Watch your step." He eyes a blast crater some four meters in front of them. Twisted rebar juts out and into the hole in the roof, the floor below obscured by the dust kicked up by the VTOL. Opposite them, on the other side of the hole, lies the roof access. Gus flicks the safety off of the carbine and waits for the rest of the squad to disembark. |
