Gus right now.
Paladius is blindsided by the missiles and loses aeronautical stability. This is also bad for Gus, who was right behind him lining up for a shot.
Fulcrum base EV 75

Roll: 99 - failure
Test failed
Though the EMP only effects Paladius, Gus also loses control of his airplane and enters a flat spin. Fortunately the ground is several kilometers away, so there is room to potentially recover.

The Raven moves to the Fulcrum's side to complete a two-ship attack on the bandit Tukreb. Lorens gets the gun solution. "He's on my nose now, I'm taking the shot," Bolts of plasma are sent hurtling to Paladius' fighter. Hot vapor spews out of the vent on the LERX shrouding the coaxial gun.

P3 accuracy 50
Aim provides bonus of 10
Test taken at 60
Roll: 100 - critical failure
Apparently the fire control systems were damaged in the collision with Scorch, because the P3 does not fire when Lorens pulls the trigger. The cannon continues to charge well beyond when it should have fired until it emits an ear-splitting shriek and detonates in a spectacular fashion.

The Raven's right wing is annihilated, along with much of the plane. Snowman himself is badly burned by the wave of heat.
With their leader looking to be shot down, the remaining planes fall into disarray.

ZombiLoin:
Faw watches Loren's symbol on his HUD go grey.
"Snowman just got downed, didn't see any enemy fire in his direction though. Gus looks like he's in dire straits too."
Faw turns around and tries to get on the Typhoon's tail.
Mr. Hurricane:
Jaakko turns his attention to Paladius. He quickly maneuvers, straining himself against the G's while the aircraft's high AOA warning system protests. He fires on Paladius' stalling Tukreb.
Operator¹:
: Letterman, Aero, use your missiles to take out Typhoon-17. Caesar, Blackeye, cover Gus so that he can get out of that spin, if he can't, give him room to eject at 2 kilometers to eject.
Tippy waits for any other enemy fighters.
NoZoner:
BOOM!
A rippling shockwave thunders back and forth across the Raven, flexing the skin and stringers of the fuselage with a wavelike motion. The resulting resonance shatters the canopy and rips apart the roosterpit paneling. Hot gasses rush into the roosterpit space both from outside and underneath. Lorens screams in agony as intense pain spikes all across his left side. He retracts his limbs away from the heat and clutches his burns.
Deprived of its port lifting surface and stabilizers, the Raven rolls with breakneck suddenness, plummeting to earth in a gut-wrenching uncontrolled spiral. Fighting injury and disorientation, Lorens reaches for the ejection handle and pulls with all his strength. The seat smashes into and fractures Lorens' tailbone as he is rocketed from the aircraft nearly parallel to the horizon. The gyro stabilization eventually rights the seat, and the parachute comes out.
