You make your way through the streets until you hear a motor vehicle approaching from the west.

Markus moves to the nearest alleyway, and flattens himself against the wall as well as he can.

"See if you can get AWACs to have them meet up. If we can get all three of them in one go we'll save a lot of time."

You press yourself up against the wall and watch as a tracked personnel carrier trundles by your alleyway without stopping. Just as you think yourself in the clear, there is the sound of metal smacking against metal, and a voice shouting "Halt!". The personnel carrier hits the brakes, and you hear heavy, plodding footsteps approaching your position. Your mind comes to the late realization that perhaps you should have found an object to hide behind to break line of sight between you and the street before your train of thought is interrupted by the sound of gunfire several blocks away. The footsteps change direction, running back the way they came, and with another knock and a call of "[Move this damn thing!]" the carrier peels out, speeding down the street towards the sound of fighting.

Markus breathes a sigh of relief and draws his service pistol, then peeks out of the alleyway to see if he's in the clear, and if he is he moves up to the next alleyway and into the closest building through any doors in the alleyway.
"I'd love to meet up and all that but currently there's fighting very close to my position. I'd be careful."
