Mr. Hurricane:
Jaakko is one of the last to land and enters the hanger later that the rest. He recalls earlier, a few minutes after egress, how his hands shook for a few minutes after the battle. He resigns himself to the fact that nobody is to know.
He climbs out of his MiG and looks over the commotion, intent on asking Bell about the status of the bomb run if he isn't sidetracked by anything immediate.

Gus stops and shakes his head, still frowning but not angrily.
"I don't mean any of you. I have the utmost respect for our engineer crew. I mean- " Gus jerks his thumb backwards vaguely, "- whichever imbeciles back in their safe little design rooms overlooked an error that nearly got a squadmate killed, and probably took him off of flight duty for the rest of his life."

Virvel and Frisk walk by on their way out of the hangar deck, talking excitedly about the upcoming bombing.

Gus looks back up at the Skepna bitterly, a knot firmly settled in his stomach. Fully half of Mjolnir lay dead or in the infirmary - Ellie and Walt there long term, both of them questionable for further operations at best. Svirask and Kronovostok had decimated the squadron, Gus reflects. Of their core members, only Jaakko, Tippy, Faw, himself and Ash remained air worthy.
His eyes settle on the pooling coolant fluid and he rubs the bridge of his nose, suddenly aware of how tired he is.
