I continue evading, and drop my remaining flares, breaking hard to get on the Sabre's tail.

Meanwhile back on base Tippy sits on her bed staring at the computer from across the room.
She had just finished typing up several drafts, several of which were incomplete but can be implemented later.
The huge outdated computer made that buzzing sound you could hear if you listened carefully and glowed brilliantly with its boisterous CRT monitor sitting atop the desk.
These things have its charms, but the weight kind of offsets a little of the joy in it. Nobody knew this but Tippy had a thing for making stuff with her hands, Mechanically she can
be a savant but recently her barriers have been digital. She thought back to her short visit in Kintharia and Yukamo suddenly.
"I guess some things can't be fixed practically." Tippy said aloud.
Tippy puts on her helmet and heads outside for a stroll around the base.
(tippy officially active again. ogm all this birthday stuff going on and i can't focus on stuffs)

Out of flares, the Rafale can only attempt to evade. Though it miraculously succeeds in dodging the incoming missiles, it is no longer chasing Crash and now at the mercy of your pulse laser.

The Sabre. It is a plane called a Sabre, it is not your teammate gone rogue. You give it a few hits, but it continues to pursue your squadmate through the barrage.

You manage to kill the entire salvo with your pair of flares, but have no luck getting behind the Sabre.
: Just hold them off a little while longer, control is doing the final system checks now.
