why don't you give us a more specific time window so we don't end up wasting our time? Nobody here knows how fast that cannon recharges and the preservation of the rest of the fleet from that thing is currently on my mind right now.

No he's right. the frigates keep the attack window small. Killing the rest of them would give you free time to attack the main ship.
