Tippy stands in one of the bathroom stalls and pulls her helmet off. She rubs the side of her jaw and cringes with pain. She opens that panel on her jaw again and pops out the tube that was containing the oil mixture to lubricate the joint implants. It was empty. (dammit there is no telling how much longer i'm going to be off base. I should have packed extra.) tippy pockets the small vial and puts her helmet back on. She steps out from the restrooms and talks to the bartender. "Excuse me, do you have any canola oil or something similar? vegetable based perhaps? Not to drink, just to lubricate a prosthetic. I've run out of my usual stuff." |
