It's common to end sentences in quotes with commas, but that's more of a literature thing iirc.

Jag-4 evades the incoming missile, Jag-3 is not so lucky. While 3 tries to shake you, 4 instead opts to attempt to get on your tail.

The string of foreign swears that follow indicate that the squad leader would probably be shooting down the insubordinate little stuff himself if he weren't bound by his own silly list of priorities.

stuff, why'd I fire the gun?! My Gods, I forfeit a lot of speed to get 60° to the aspect of the missiles. Now my underbelly is exposed! I wonder if I can force an overshoot. But this guy has to be an ace!

Tippy stays on Jag-1 firing off her AC5 in an attempt to shred the plane. Flakes of her angry paintjob chip off as the vibration from her guns throw out more lead down range. Best to be conserving on her only heatseekers if at all possible.
