The majority of the MMS salvo strikes the second vtol, and the third and fourth attempt to deploy flares.

The railgun takes out several trees but doesn't seem to do much to the concealed position, thankfully the GAU solves that problem.

Unfortunately, the ESAM was indeed affected by the processor crash. Fortunately, as it tries to flee from Gladiator, VTOL-2 stumbles into one drone's engagement radius and is chased off.

2, already spooped and on the run from both Gladiator and the drone, drops its flares. 3 drops its last set of flares and performs evasive maneuvers to avoid the second missile. It continues to hover around the same area, barraging the Marines' exposed rear flank with rockets. The next wave of the assault force has been deployed and is heading for the beach at this time. The existing forces have marked several new targets that need to be taken out.
: Mjolnir, be advised, I'm picking up more enemy aircraft at long ranges heading for the beach. And one of them is moving damn fast for its size. They'll be on top of you any moment!

I get a lock on VTOL-1, and fire off one RGM while at range. At the same time, I throttle back and prepare to gain altitude after the missile hits in preparation for the new bogies.
"I hate to interrupt your beach party, Mjolnir, but we've got new contacts. Can the ground targets wait?"
