Radar comes back online. The hardware is undamaged, the software is at least running again. The enemy aircraft do not appear. They are beyond the radar's cone radius.
I look at the ESAM, it's back online, but is attempting to contact the drones. The A2G drone comes back online first. I immediately order it to attack the third target group. It reacts slowly.
Datalinks systems are only initializing now.
I look to the P3, it's still out, but it's heat is dissipating. The roosterpit begins to cool.
"I'm at altitude, but I can't tell if I'm above the incoming hostiles yet. All aircraft not engaged in Air to Ground, engage the incoming hostiles, by the gods!"
I punch the throttle and engage afterburners. The aircraft rockets skyward.
