Author Topic: Casualties of 2015  (Read 6420 times)

I didn't know who monty oum was before this thread so he is automatically insignificant by that logic
Case in point. Hell, I only recognise two of the people on that list, Monty and Leonard Nimoy. It's silly to not list people on (an admittedly already rather silly) grieving list just because they're not famous enough or whatever.

Again, specific people that were known by forumers.

Although, clone probably had a basement full of children in Nepal, so that might be a casualty.
Well, why would one mourn the death of a bunch of people that died in a place that they've never even come close to? People in here were sad about Ben E. King because they enjoyed his music. The majority of the people here, if not all, didn't know anyone at all in the Nepal earthquake.
Why am I not surprised about your disregard for over 6,300 peoples deaths..

Oh wait now I remember
So this happened on the memorial server :P
In poor taste if you ask me...

Hey. Dave Fredinburg died in the avalanches caused by the earthquakes, put him and the other 6,624+ deaths

I didn't need a grandma there to recognize that 6000+ people lost their lives and that is a huge tragedy.
Only to play Devil's Advocate, but 6000 people, probably more, die daily. Why is it so special when it's localised to one area as opposed to happening all over the place?

EDIT: To clarify, I haven't read any of the previous discussion or argument. Just saw this and wanted to point out something that bugs me.
