i aint denying it
he was a genius in marketing and business terms
Dude, he has people buying cheap laptops for $1000-$2500.
He wasn't just great at marketing, he was the best at marketing.

1000-2500 USD?
Cheap?

That's robbery, I can get a ASUS or an HP laptop for much cheaper like for 200 on Amazon.

i think that's the point

it's because they're so good at marketing that they can get away with selling at such ludicrous prices

Leave it to espio to quote himself at every chance he gets.

what's funny is that I've yet to buy anything apple.  Not in protest, but because I don't have a need for anything they make.

Apple can even make a portless computer popular!
Oh wait, they already did.

let's be real though: the whole smart watch idea is awesome. obv not everyone has a use for it but is the idea not super cool

The idea of receiving all your notifications, calls, messages on your wrist when you're away from your phone or when it's in your pocket is just incredibly cool.
Smartwatches (Pebble for me) personally really helped me to not miss important calls/messages in my everyday life.

And now Apple is releasing their own, which is looking awesome and really attractive in my opinion.

i think thats the scam. apple buys up stock in other companies. then releases average junk at way to high a price to force buyers over to other brands.
and of course they earn some from their own company when a handicap gives them money as well.

http://www.apple.com/mac/compare/

I was looking at the other macs you can get for the same price
the new one is a straight downgrade from the macbook pro but it's the same price wtf

they do it because it's considered luxury software. it's stuff a bunch of millionaires or upper middle class white suburban families buy by the dozens

they do it because it's considered luxury software. it's stuff a bunch of millionaires or upper middle class white suburban families buy by the dozens
that's not just why it's so succesful, it's because all people want to buy apple products.

people on foodstamps are saving up to buy iphones instead of education or building a solid foundation

This is why I hate apple

"Features: No USB ports
no HDMI ports
Proprietary charging port
Decade-old processor
stuffty integrated graphics
$1000"
How long ago did they take out optical drives?
How are you supposed to install anything?
And this point it's just a tablet

Just because you don't like a company doesn't mean their products are stuff. if apples products were "utter stuff" they wouldn't be a multi BILLION dollar company would they?
It's not stuffty because he doesn't like it
It's stuffty because it has low specs at a high price
It's a multi billion dollar company because people some people know stuff about computers

LOL
Jesus forget

but you don't have to buy it. it is bullstuff, but the watch has 18 carat gold. gold isn't cheap, sonny. you are the prime example of pretentious
$17k is actually not a lot compared to what some companies charge for their top-of-the-line watches. And a HUGE portion of that $17k is because of the real gold that is on it.
Gold is currently (according to this site) $1163oz. I don't think a single watch has over a pound of gold in it

you really shouldn't need to charge your phone more than once a day (if you do you need to get a hobby or get some clinical help or something)
I guess software devs like me who make/use mobile apps at work need clinical help

1000-2500 USD?

pretty sure by 'cheap' he means 'low quality'/'cheap to produce compared to the sell point'
