Wow, I only ever kept up with the show, and never caught things like that. Didn't know Jeremy was that kinda person.

Oh well. Hopefully the show isn't completely canceled because of that.

BBC News special correspondent Lucy Manning said sources had confirmed reports Clarkson was suspended for "allegedly hitting a producer".

he also supposedly murmured the word "monday" according to another news post.

I doubt the BBC will drop him.
He makes them a lot of money, even if he is controversial. Same reason ITV really enjoys bringing Katie Hopkins on tv.

If they do drop him, I'm sure ITV or Sky will pick him up ridiculously quick. Especially if there's a chance that Hammond and May will follow when their contracts are up.

This really was a no-issue.

He recited a nursery rhyme, which historically used to use the word 'monday' in it.
And they then-and-there decided the line wasn't good to use, so they replaced it. They never once aired the word monday.

Top Gear is one of the few BBC shows that I can stand (Sherlock as well).

I don't think they'll suspend him, I hope not anyway
what will top gear be like if they do? we need all 3 of them for entertainment

Nooooo Top gear is the only car show i can actually stand
