Ah so vibration? I think its the distance of when you place 2 bars on the same line. The higher the distance, the higher the vibration.

Not only that, but that's not the answer.  I'm talking about the adjustable volume of a note.  The amplitude when referring to sound is the volume.  If you place two notes horizontally above each other, it is called the interval.  If you do that, it arpeggiates between the notes.
