Sweden mitigates the damage of the economic recession with their high-tech indoor food production industries and infrastructure construction, but the government does some restructuring in the banking industry to increase recovery and fix problem areas in financial regulatory policy. The military starts fielding fuel cells and compact nuclear reactors in limited numbers. The reactors are equipped with safety measures that minimize contamination and do not emit radiation. This is mostly for prototype testing so units equipped with the devices will not be fielded in combat until the prototype testing phases are complete and improvements are made. Sweden doesn't provide any direct monetary aid but continues funding the joint-research project with Russia and lowers some trade barriers. |

Zimbabwe declares a state of emergency. The Parliament of Zimbabwe has declared a national policy of euthanasia without the approval of the U.N. Starting today and in effect today, infected individuals will be sent to camps in Gweru, Kwekwe, Masvingo, and Bulawayo. Millions will be transferred from hospital beds to government approved euthanasia camps. The Parliament of Zimbabwe realizes how dangerous this can be to continue neutral relations with the rest of the world. The Parliament of Zimbabwe, and the people of Zimbabwe condemn all acts of Flash Mob and genocides -- however if we allow the further spread of this disease then it will never be controlled. It has been nearly one month, and we've wiped out every individual infected with the virus. I hope the U.N. gives us a pass. Zimbabwe is slowly coming back. |
