A munitions factory in Ho Chi Minh goes up in flames. Heavy ammunition explodes and sends out many more small arms rounds, artillery/mortar rounds and tank shells flying throughout the city.
Around 70% of the explosive ammunition dispersed detonate, moderately damaging modern buildings while older buildings crumble. No official death toll, but hundreds are reported missing.
Operator¹:
Field testing of improved radiation scrubber units begins in Germany and Norway. A few of the units integrate biological solutions but the focus is placed on chemical/mechanical means of removal.
A single test unit is sent to German-occupied North America.
