Author Topic: Bye-Bye Internet Explorer - Microsoft to cancel Internet Explorer  (Read 2390 times)

Last I heard chrome was dropping silverlight, so I may have to make a switch for the program I'm taking.

microsoft is also developing a new browser, nicknamed spartan for now

I know, that's what's in the post. Thanks for telling tho for the tl;dr guys ;)

My friend's dad forced him to use IE because he was afraid that viruses will install if he downloaded Chrome. From stories he told me, I can see why people hate IE

There's a really bad stigma with internet explorer, which is why Microsoft is trying to get rid of said stigma by making a "new" browser. Will it be actually good? Dunno.

goodnight sweet prince

I really hope Spartan turns out to be good, and I don't even know why.

i hope it's just a lighter version of chrome
and without google's intrusive tracking.

why tf arent i getting these updates....

and without google's intrusive tracking.
i don't care much about that
as long as it doesn't take up as much ram, i'm set

Microsoft is simply discontinuing support for Chrome.

When it comes out in the next update for w10 preview I'll make sure to have it run through a couple of html5 tests for ya
