Burellian control begins in the area to the west, called Naxore. From those arms still existing, they are collected by the Burellian forces. Those that try to flee west run into Burellian border patrols and are asked either to give up their weapons and can be allowed entry, or are asked not to enter.

Political envoys are sent north, all the way up to the Obalei confederation. They offer assimilation into the Republic of Vlast.
In a large capitalist undertaking, dozens of ships sail and set up land in Avaela, east of the Drozjenat Empire. The state has sanctioned this undertaking. A tract in the mountains has been claimed.
The natives who live here are friendly for the most part, but simply respond with a "No thanks. We'd prefer to be friends and not do war and have any reason to hold grudges. They are however, interested in being friends, trading, and later down the line if things go well, being an ally to Vlast. They are also friends of the Obalei Confederation.
A colony is landed, yet to be named. Early geological surveys uncover significant sources of coal.
