I spent almost the entire time painting that running guy. This is my redemption for painting such a stupid human figure last time. Really empty beach and the world's worst boardwalk.

Today I learned that paintings of realistic settings are really boring. No wonder fantasy and sci-fi is so popular.

What kind of paint is that?

You should paint some sort of building like an old '50s movie theater with cars/limousines in front of it. If people is a problem, it probably won't be an issue. You could even have them far enough away from the perspective point that they could be simple colored lines.

It's because I'm forcing myself to draw in methods and styles that I'm completely uncoordinated in. I don't see you completely stepping outside your own boundaries in terms of art.

Anyway, I'm looking for good tutorials for turning rough sketches into lineart. If anyone knows of any then I'd like to see them.
