oh god you take PARCC too? my county recently got switched over to that and I heard it's a rather hard test. I've never taken it before so I don't really know about it.
To be honest, it isn't really that hard.

it's not hard, it's the system in general
my 1st period class took like 30 minutes trying to get the loving thing to work

Here in California, we've got a new test as well, called the CAASPP, I belive. We're taking it on iPads in one class and laptops in the other. Really stuffty thing to work with so far. Graphing on there is a pain in the ass, you have to be pixel-perfect on your dot to remove something. Sounds like you guys are having the same switch, from pencil to keyboard.

To be honest, it isn't really that hard.
this
just annoying because it forgeted our schedule
also we're doing it on paper, i'm not sure if we'll even do computers

I am taking the Arizona Merit Test this week, that thing is so weird

i took my STAAR eoc test for english 1 today
why do these tests have stupid acronym names

This entire thread is talking about different kinds of tests, I'm sitting here with SOL tests

Currently, the PARCC test is paper based for my school. It will become computer based eventually.

The thing I love the most about PARCC is the wonderful UI design. Its brilliance in displaying the wonderfully written questions, and oh, the way they're written is just wonderful. Especially those english questions - but oop! Can't share them. I hope all tests are like PARCC in the future.

/sarcasm

seniors don't have to take it, most of my classes are excused because of it B^)

but it's a real pain i heard from some of my teachers tho

I'm taking the STARR where I am.

I have it- I live in California.

The PARCC is handicapped. You can even opt out of it where I am, since it's basically just a test run, meaning your scores won't be showed to colleges or impact you in any way. I, however, was not allowed to opt out because of my mom, so I just wrote my essays on how stupid the PARCC is. Good time

yeah we take parccs too

sucks donkey balls

originally we had the MSA's (which is my states testing) and (from what i can remember) now we are doing PARCC

99% its going to loving suck
