Author Topic: Pizzaria in my town raises $842k over gays rights debacle, reopens to full house  (Read 34818 times)

You are literally replacing the two parties in the situation in order to make a double standard and make being against blatantly tribal organizations the same as denying homoloveuals service.

a double standard is a comparison

did you not even know the own point you were trying to make?
The brown townogy was for the views the owners' had on the customers not what the customers actually were...

The brown townogy was for the views the owners' had on the customers not what the customers actually were...
so you want to make an brown townogy that alludes to a different viewpoints without actually having a valid example.

while we're at it you'd also be a richard if you were against the pizza place for choosing not to serve child enthusiasts because it was next to an elementary school or some equally stupid brown townogy like that.

also an brown townogy is very much a comparison

Except the "gays" aren't a group all about racism/prejudice, and the owners are committing prejudice, so it's literally the exact opposite of the brown townogy you presented. It's as if a kool kids klub member denied service to a black person. Yes, people would get upset in this case. Mainly because they're a gigantic starfish. No, people would not get upset in the opposite case, your original one. ITS COMMON SENSE

>>This mac & cheese is as cheesy as pizza
>> Are you comparing mac and cheeze to pizza?

do you know how brown townogies work oh my god

So you're saying people wouldn't care that someone is denying service because of their beliefs? ok

do you know how brown townogies work oh my god
You so obviously don't.

You so obviously don't.
Uh...? A 2 second google search could clear up any confusion you have with what an brown townogy is.

"a comparison between two things, typically on the basis of their structure and for the purpose of explanation or clarification."

stay in school, lol

So you're saying people wouldn't care that someone is denying service because of their beliefs? ok
There's more to it than that genius. Beliefs can be morally right, wrong, and inbetween. If your beliefs involve burning black people at the stake then yes, people are going to get upset, and if your beliefs involve not supporting starfishs then no, people aren't going to be upset. You cannot generalize every single belief like you just did.

that's exactly it, a comparison, but literally every comparison won't fit in 100% because they are 2 both different things ffs

I'm not comparing
is this some kind of incredible trolling scheme holy crud

i love it when i read a thread, and miss read or miss one little thing, and people automatically accuse me of not reading the thread and being a know it all.
You "misread" something and that somehow brought in a gay couple that never existed into the story.

I'm glad you resort to name calling though it really proves your point further.

But regardless, that's the LAW and the black pizza shop owners in my question, and the christian shop owners in real life, have the option to refuse service to whomever they please. No matter what the social rules are.

hmmm
which one of these is worse
the homos or the monday killers

Businesses have the right to deny service to anyone they want to, this has never changed, but if the public thinks that, for whatever reason, that it was the wrong thing to do, then they'll get upset about it. It's simply human nature, nobody's rights are being violated here.
