what takes more skillz? Starcraft 2 or Total War (any of them)?

I had an argument with a friend over this. I know both are very different in terms of how they are played but which one would you say requires more skill? His argument was basically "Starcraft is an esport, therefore it takes more skill". What are your thoughts?

Starcraft can be loving insane sometimes, you have to rush your units to certain areas at points and then you always have to keep watch of your base. Plus there's just so much useless stuff in it, like really, just keep units at your base and don't build bunkers. This is the pattern; Build up an army, keep that army active, spend time watching your SCVs and your base and always keep them guided. I'm into games like this, but it gets tedious to start another round up because I always end up losing.

I have never played Total War, so there's that.
