From what I've read the topic isn't resolved so no matter how old it is it shouldn't matter until it has a resolution. (if it is already resolved and I missed it, please quote)

This thread was resolved ages ago. A conclusion was reached that there was no name-copying, the admin was abusing his power and the only arguing going on was the guy trying to defend himself from being unjustly banned. This resulted in the admin being demoted.
