Sit your parents in front of that computer and show them what pain and misery you are going through.

That's what I did.

It worked.

Why doesn't your computer with the good connection run Blockland?

You already have one with a high-speed connection you said. Move the computers around, connect the blockland-running one to your good internets.

Or just buy a router and cancel the 56k connection, you'll save money.

step one: movethe stuffty comp that cant run blockland to the dial up,
step two: move the good comp that can run blockland to the high speed.

problem solved.

There about 20 miles apart. Problem not solved.

I also did this

If you're still using dial-up, you shouldn't be gaming online.  You should be killing yourself.

If you're running 56k then the internet left you behind, too bad.

okay, 3 MB takes 1hour and 30 minutes for you?
This would be about 0,5kbytes per second this is far away from 56k it's 14 times slower than that..... (4k lol)

Sorry, it won't matter so much if you are the only one with v8, online gameplay is absolutely IMPOSSSIBLE with a internet connection like that.

Get the PC that can run Blockland to the location of the broadband internet connection and play there, problem solved.
is there another problem? Well, can't help it, get a better connection, it's amazing that you are even able to get into this forum. It should take about 6 minutes to completly load one single page with your internet connection.....

When I was playing Total Annihilation, I used to have dial-up. If I was able to download the 20mb mods then, you should be able to download a 3-8mb file on the dial-up.
