Author Topic: i think i got a virus  (Read 3567 times)

I have important stuff on here. Will the pups do crazy stuff to my laptop if i wait like a month or two.
It can't do anything if the laptop is off

But it will infect more when it is on

This is why you back up your important files on a cloud or flash drive

Laptop is rip

Backing up now and wiping after. Pray for me.

Norton is a piece of stuff

And that won't speed up virus removal

Are you computer illiterate?

lol

only 148 things detected???

i once scanned my laptop after running a cheat engine installation (i installed it from the official website too) and it detected like 844 PUPs and malware overnight

also, PUPs are almost like nothing. they're pretty much browser hijackers or adware installed onto your computer, it stands for 'potentially unwanted program' i believe

you could have reset your laptop to a previous state (before you downloaded it)
it's basically turning back time, I've done it before

My pc is resetting. Im out guys. Thanks.

Delete System 32

It happened to me twice. When I was 12 and when I was 13. Both times it was unfixable, so my dad reset my whole system. It worked, but all my files were dead :(

You could try resetting too. Backup all your files on a drive. I have one that my dad bought that has 2TB of storage. Link

Move over AV Defender 2011, there's a new badass rogueclean anti-virus in town, and it's been sitting under our noses for months.
