for your case, you need the image's source. to do this, right-click on the image in imgur and select "Copy Image URL". that'll put the image on your clipboard, and then you can paste it into a forums post or whatever. don't forget to use the tags like tablesalt said.

You are linking to the imgur gallery page and not the image itself.

I clicked it and put that and It just looked like this[img ]http://imgur.com/xp2SK6n[/img]

Put the actual image url inside of the image tags.
