Salmonella is very rare to get from eggs
Well, unless the shell has a crack in it before being opened, eating raw egg shouldn't give you salmonella.

You should always eat raw egg directly after cracking it, it's bad to leave it laying around

Ikr? And who would incorporate it into ice cream?

I like cookie dough, but I like the sensation of eating a hot chocolate chip cookie just 3-5 minutes out of the oven while it is still pretty gooey and still contains most of the heat and moisture.
