Author Topic: Casselberry Police Officer punished for sending Anime Meme with N-Word In It  (Read 6698 times)

not if your boss isn't an easily offended baby
it has nothing to do with being offended, it's unprofessional whether you're tribal or not

I hate to break it to you but police are a government organisation
It's also an occupation. Schools are a government organisation as well, but a teacher can be fired for saying monday to her kids. If you haven't already realized, the cop wasn't arrested. Stop being a loving dipstuff.

so what I got from this thread is,
the police officer's boss is an sjw
IF that was his boss

or maybe he just thought the other officer was unprofessional? not everybody who does something you don't like is a "SJW."

I'm pretty sure if I go to america and hold up a big sign with the words "mondays are bad" I'll get arrested for some "ratial" stuff
Nope

Bullcrap, this was sent between two officers via text message. NBA players do the filthiest things along with NFL men, either they say horrible things or beat their girlfriends. You'd think that this officer was doing that. He was having a private conversation.

listen, i think this whole story is a bit silly

but b-ballers and officers are vastly different in terms of discourse.

it was a group chat between at least three people
He was having a private conversation.
it being a "private conversation" doesn't mean you can say whatever you want either
as soon as your boss is there, it's work-related. the way you act in "private" reflects on you even more than the way you act in front of your boss under normal circumstances

Was the boss in this "private" conversation?

please stop using the phrase sjw

No, saying monday in most contexts is going to get you in trouble with your boss. It just so happens that this was in the form of a little anime girl. Whether or not this is stupid is irrelevant. it just happens.

Was the boss in this "private" conversation?
did you even open the link to the article

"an officer is accused of sending a text with a racial slur to his supervisor."

Police are held to a higher standard than citizens and it has always been that way.

I didn't see that part, forget about what I said then. To say that to your own supervisor is just stupid.
