It was yes, and when people pointed this out all the admins on the forums deleted the topics and denied that it ever happened, even though there was clear evidence of it happening. They shoulda taken the puush route and just fix the issue as fast as possible.

If by 'loaded with ads' you mean there's one in the bottom left corner, then yeah sure. The bitcoin miner that it auto-installed is windows-only so I never got it, but even if I had I really wouldn't be that mad I'd just remove it. It's not like it went out of its way to hide that it was installed.
