Not wanting to dig into an argument about why one is better than the other, but what was the major difference in quest/dungeon mechanics between New Vegas and 3?

I don't think either were majorly different.
As for story telling, I think both were pretty clunky at times, and could be made ludicrous depending on how you applied the games mechanics to them. I liked both stories though, but felt more involved in 3. It felt personal, whereas in New Vegas, I never felt a motivation to do anything after catching up to Benny.

Judge:

game is good but whenever i walk near lexington i lose 20-30 fps
i go from a consistent 60 to jumping around 30-50
haven't seen that many places yet but of the ones i"ve seen lexington is worst
also sometimes i get stuck going forward
as for the rest of the game it looks really good, but i don't think it'll be as 3

Game runs fine for me on ultra settings @ 1440p; 90+ fps at all times so far. I have a 144Hz monitor before anyone tries to yell at me about it being locked to 60 or whatever. Game looks good, feels good and plays good. The UI could use some work but I've played with worse.

The only actual problems I've been having are sometimes getting stuck when trying to exit a terminal, which I need to load a save to fix, and sometimes the dialogue goes out of sync and gets cut off, same for the radio sometimes too. Overall nothing I can't deal with, hell, I've dealt with far far worse over the years and I'm glad I preordered the game.

Regulith:

It makes complete sense that Wonderglue and duct tape would be the most important things after the world literally fell apart, but somehow I'm still surprised that I need so much of it

Like I actually get more excited when there's one of each in the same place than I do when I find a cap stash, mostly because I've found jack stuff I actually want to buy
